OUR MISSION

At Stand Up, Stand Strong, our mission is to help schools confront the biggest challenges facing students today—mental health struggles, abuse, and violence—through assemblies that combine powerful stories, practical education, and engaging multimedia.

Program Structure

Length: 45 minutes

Approach: A high-impact assembly that blends storytelling, education, and interactive moments to address mental health, abuse prevention, and violence reduction. Students are drawn in through authentic stories, practical teaching, and multimedia designed to capture attention.

Core Flow

  1. Opening Engagement (5 min)
    – Music, energy, and immediate student connection.
    – Clear theme: Stand Up, Stand Strong.

  2. Stories That Connect (15 min)
    – Real-life narratives from multiple speakers that make issues relatable.
    – Emotional hooks paired with practical takeaways.

  3. Education & Skills (15 min)
    – Red flags of abuse, bullying, and violence explained in age-appropriate language.
    – Simple coping strategies and resources for mental health.
    – Calls to action: how to stand up for yourself and others.

  4. Closing Challenge & Hope (10 min)
    – Unified challenge for students to take responsibility for their school culture.
    – Clear next steps, school-specific reinforcement, and resource reminders.

Assembly Options

Option 1: Two Presenters (Base Program)

  • Engaging speakers deliver stories and educational content.

  • No multimedia requirements—school provides microphone and stage space.

  • Budget-friendly, portable, effective for small to mid-sized schools.

Option 2: Full Production Experience

  • Two 20' screens with visuals, videos, and opening entertainment.

  • Professional sound system & DJ for music-driven engagement.

  • Multiple presenters for dynamic energy and varied perspectives.

  • Multimedia-driven storytelling with custom graphics, video clips, and interactive moments.

  • Designed for larger budgets, these tours are ideal for multi-school districts. (Grants available for schools that are concerned about the budget.)
